Fox Trails Done
Adapting Elizabeth Hartman's Small Plates pattern, this was made with some Riley Blake charms and a roly poly from their fabric line Fox Trails. I tried a raw edge binding this time, not sure how I feel about it. The quilting is loose diagonal lines, since the batting in this is just a flannel sheet and the backing is a piece of flannel this makes it very drapey and not in need of much quilting.
Woodland Tumblers
A lap sized/crib sized tumbler quilt made with cute as can be Woodlands fabric by Khristian A. Howell for Anthology fabrics. The colours are so bright and the fabric has a hand to it that feels light and crisp but soft. And I was so excited to use the fruit and vegetable material I cut from an Ikea duvet cover for the back. I got it from the "as is" section for only a few bucks! There's a lot of fabric in a duvet cover! Plus there was a pillowcase! Anyways, I love the zig zaggy double lines the quilting makes. Just need to bind it and love it!

Fox Trails Pin Basted
Tonight I am pin basting another version of Small Plates by Elizabeth Hartman. Sorry about the colour of the photo, I am taking it at night! This one is using fabrics from Riley Blake (actually two charm packs and a roly-poly).
Here is my first one, done last year, in owl prints and some others from Riley Blake.
And here is my second, in Robot Factory by Caleb Gray.

Lilac Hill Buzz Saw Quilted

Lilac Hill Top
I have been wanting to try a buzz saw block ever since I saw this quilt on flickr. My boys bought me 7 yards (!) of Lilac Hill by Moda for my birthday in October. I needed a gift for a generous woman who likes lavender. So this is what resulted :) Purple is not one of my colours at all, so it is interesting that this is what my children picked for me...
Looking forward to getting this quilted and bound soon!
