Photos of Our Epic Trip!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that my family and I took off for the month of September, hopped in our motorhome and saw mucho stuff! We drove from our home in Western Alberta to the Oregon Coast, down to San Francisco, over to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, and then back north through Zion and Arches National Parks. That's about 7,982 km (4,953 miles) for those who like numbers!  We finished *JUST* as the US government decided to shut down all the Parks. Nice for us to not have our trip affected in any way, but ever so sad for all the folks since then who wanted to see these spectacular places.

Anyways, we left on August 31 and arrived back home on October 2. Words can't describe what a fabulous time we had, so hopefully a few of my favourite pictures will (click on through to Flickr to see the whole album of favourites if you are so inclined...). Also, my sons, who have their own YouTube channel have put up a couple of Vacation Vlogs, if you'd like to see us "in action" so to speak. Or maybe you are just here for the quilts, which is fine and dandy too! More to come on that end of things to be sure!

  5. Is that last pic the painted desert in Nevada? I've been there as a kid. What a wonderful trip for you to take. None of the boys have black eyes in the photos so everyone must have got along ; )
