More Granny Squares

I completed some more Granny Squares today, enough for a baby boy quilt. These are scraps from quilts I had made from Riley Blake's Hooty Hoot line and Fox Trails. I have some scraps from a quilt I made last year in Kate Spain's Verna line that will soon become a little girl Granny Square quilt. Looking forward to sewing up that sweet one!

A Ruby Tuesday

Today I am enjoying the hope of spring in the air and working with cheerful Ruby fabric by Bonnie and Camille for Moda. I've paired it with Kona Snow and am sewing up happy pinwheels for a baby quilt. How can I not smile?

Christmas Star Quilt

Finished!! I used Folksy Flannel for the back. I think it matched quilt nicely and makes it so cozy and festive looking. The idea for this quilt came from an issue of McCalls Quilting from last year found at a thrift store. The quilt was called a "Sparkling Sampler". I used some of the blocks from the large quilt, arranged them myself and designed my own border.
